TMD is currently working with the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority to redesign the fixed route bus network and expand innovative mobility options in Alabama’s largest city. With the help of our local partner BGrace Media, we held a community pop-up event this week at MAX Transit’s Central Station in downtown Birmingham. With social distancing, protective barriers, and other measures in place, we were still able to facilitate an outdoor community event amid the pandemic. While we’re also holding virtual meetings, it’s still important to bring the project to the current customers and listen to their needs. We’re excited to share our draft network plan with the public later this spring.
