TMD is excited to announce that the LA NextGen Bus Plan was approved by the Metro Board of Directors! We kicked off this project at the end of 2017 and spent the better part of three years developing a plan designed to greatly improve access to high-quality frequent transit service within Los Angeles County. With Conan Cheung and his staff at LA Metro as well as our partners at Cambridge Systematics, we explored new data sets and analysis that challenged our understanding of public transit use and pioneered new strategies for conducing transit network redesigns. This was an incredibly rewarding and exciting project to be a part of, and we look forward to watching the plan hit the streets starting at the end of this year.
