Stuart Geltman has over 20 years of experience serving public transportation providers throughout the country as a transportation Project Manager. He has developed service plans for large and small transit operators, system evaluations and redesigns, and has helped develop Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) programs. Stuart has successfully supported transit agencies as they have grown service, proposed new funding through ballot initiatives, and reoriented service around new rail lines and BRT services. He has also conducted analyses of transit facilities to determine the optimal capacity at transit centers and operating and maintenance facilities.

Prior to joining TMD, Stuart was part of the transit planning staff at AECOM. There, he helped to develop the New York City Select Bus Service Program and supported the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit with their MetroExtra program. Over the span of his career, he has led or worked on transit planning projects in 25 states and five different countries.
