It is a time of transition for Victor Valley Transit (VVTA). Many of the issues and changes facing VVTA are similar to those experienced by transit agencies throughout the country, while others are specific to the Victor Valley and North Desert area. The project will be completed in a three-phased approach: Phase I is designed to assess the existing mobility environment of Victor Valley and the North Desert and evaluate the existing service conditions covering the range of transit services operated by VVTA. In Phase II, draft alternatives for future transit service will be prepared and presented to the public. Phase III concludes the project with a presentation of the final plan for VVTA. The outcome of this study will be a five-year blueprint to improve VVTA including a redesign of services.
