This month the Office of Mayor John Cooper released the Metro Nashville Transportation Plan which proposes an investment of $1.6 billion to improve transportation infrastructure. TMD worked with WeGo Public Transit (formerly Nashville MTA) on the Better Bus Service Expansion component, identifying opportunities for growth in Nashville’s bus network. The expansion plan focuses on extending service later into the evenings, adding service on weekends, improving frequency on key corridors, introducing new crosstown services, and creating new first/last mile mobility zones.
