TMD is currently supporting the City of Pasadena with their Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) update. This document will provide a plan for changes to the Pasadena Transit fixed-route and Pasadena Dial-a-Ride services over the next five years.
This SRTP will include an emphasis on the following areas:
- New Travel Patterns
- New Mobility Services
- Zero Emission Bus Operations
- Regional Integration
To date, TMD has completed a rider survey and onboard ridecheck for the Pasadena Transit fixed-route service. Next, we will be working with the City to summarize the existing service conditions and developing draft service recommendations which consider feedback from the community. The final SRTP is expected to be completed in Fall 2024.
