(Carlsbad, CA – December, 2020) – We are pleased to welcome our newest Project Manager, Gary Hewitt, to the TMD team.

Gary brings over 25 years of transit planning and operations experience. Prior to joining TMD, he worked for several small municipal and large regional transit agencies in Southern California, including OCTA, City of Irvine, LA Metro, and City of Glendale. Through this experience he has developed transit service recommendations for fixed-route and microtransit services, provided planning and implementation support for agency innovation projects, managed short and long-range transit studies, and collaborated with Board members and stakeholders on improving transit. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban & Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and attended the Eno Transportation Mid-Manager Leadership Program.
