The 710 North Mobility Hubs Plan was an effort to improve mobility and quality of life in the area north of the end of the I-710 Freeway in Los Angeles County. The area is heavily congested, so the project focused on identifying potential locations for mobility hubs that could integrate multiple modes of transportation and facilitate movement around the region. Leveraging our knowledge and experience from the LA Metro NextGen Bus Study, TMD worked with Alta Planning + Design to identify and prioritize potential mobility hub locations. Focusing on the transit component, TMD analyzed stop-level ridership, transfer activity, and proposed service levels to identify the locations. TMD reviewed all mobility hub plans to ensure the hub design prioritized the customer experience, reviewing stop placement at intersections, proposed amenities, and transfer connections.
