TMD is supporting the development of an operating plan for a new BRT in Gulfton, the densest community in Houston. The Gulfton BRT will interface with the existing Uptown and future University BRT lines, transforming regional connectivity options.
TMD developed seven alignment alternatives to help Houston Metro select a Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) for further study. For the LPA, TMD identified proposed station locations, conducted running time and financial costing analysis, and made recommendations for the interface of the BRT with underlying local bus routes.
