TMD conducted several Title VI / Environmental Justice Analyses for DART, including analyzing DART’s proposed fare policy changes in response to the introduction of new fareboxes, and new Smart Card media and service changes implemented in August 2018 and January 2019. TMD analyzed U.S. Census data, as well as results from recent on-board surveys to identify any disproportionate impacts to minority and low-income populations.
