TMD completed a fourth five-year contract as the General Planning Consultant, providing technical support to the Regional Transportation District (RTD) in service development, operations planning, scheduling, and facility planning. Since 2001, TMD has assisted RTD in developing and implementing arterial and freeway BRT, redeveloping its bus system in response to the expanding rail services (T-Rex and FasTracks), developing and optimizing community mobility initiatives, and developing enhanced arterial corridor options. Operational work has included transit center optimization, on-time performance improvements, street supervision enhancement, and technology review and update.
