Corpus Christi Title VI Program Update

In 2020, TMD assisted the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) in completing the agency’s triennial Title VI Program Update. TMD conducted the analysis and compiled the documents necessary for FTA approval of the program. TMD produced the program itself, including the maps. As part of the project, TMD used demographic
data to determine where minority and low-income populations were located within the service area and compared the population living within a half-mile of stops to the service area population as a whole, ensuring that service was distributed equitably throughout the service area. In addition, TMD identified which CCRTA routes have an above-average percentage of minority and low-income populations within a half-mile of CCRTA stops, information useful for future Title VI analyses.
