Grey Crawford is an Associate Planner at TMD with a strong foundation in operations, service planning, and local government engagement. He graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Political Science with a focus on Public Service. At UC Davis, he served as a student bus operator for ASUCD Unitrans, gaining valuable hands-on experience operating single and double-decker buses, (including vintage Regent Type vehicles from London) across Davis’ fixed-route network.

Grey served as student Planning Manager for Unitrans, where he collaborated with City of Davis staff to deliver accessibility upgrades at bus stops. He also led a systemwide shift restructuring that increased frequency on two major routes and introduced a targeted school-trip service to help ease afternoon congestion. His background also includes work on a city council campaign and an internship with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, where he supported research for a local transit revenue measure. Grey brings a strong operations perspective, analytical skillset, and a passion for community-focused transit planning to the TMD team.
