Overview
A senior member of TMD’s scheduling team since 2012, Mr. Dornheim brings over 30 years of experience building multimodal transit schedules to maximize productivity, efficiency, and accuracy. As a former transit service professional for several systems across the Northeast, he has deep expertise in scheduling, runcutting, data analysis, and service planning. Most recently, Mr. Dornheim served as Chief Schedule Maker for Philadelphia’s Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, where he oversaw scheduling for nearly 200 routes involving light and heavy rail, trolley, and bus operations. With a focus on improving the customer experience within budget and labor constraints, he understands the analytical techniques and adjustments required to achieve effective and profitable transit schedules. In addition to his technical schedule management experience, he has also supervised and trained staff, produced long-term service and operations plans, and developed transit outreach and marketing programs. Well versed in both Trapeze™ and HASTUS™ scheduling systems, Mr. Dornheim routinely produces schedules and cost-effective runcuts for clients that are “street-ready” and consistent with specific agency parameters. He holds a bachelor of science degree in general business administration and management from Philadelphia University.
