TMD is working with New Jersey Transit to redesign the local bus network in and around Newark. The intrastate network has remained relatively static for decades, despite revitalization in downtown Newark and significant changes and growth in the surrounding cities.

TMD is helping the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority redesign the MAX Transit system for Alabama’s most populous city. Forward With MAX is the first comprehensive review of the system in several decades and offers an opportunity for BJCTA to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic with an improved transit system that better meets rider needs with an optimized fixed route network with integrated innovative mobility options.

TMD worked with Nashville WeGo Public Transit on the Better Bus plan which developed a vision for improving bus transit in Nashville.
