Overview
Ben is an experienced Associate Planner who joined TMD after graduating with a Masters of Urban Planning from San Jose State University. He focused his degree on the intersection of transportation and land use planning, receiving an honors designation for his capstone research work on first and last mile planning. At TMD, he has supported a number of projects in a variety of roles, including route design, stop spacing analysis, and existing conditions analysis. He has played significant roles in a number of projects, including leading the development of Title VI analyses and leading the development of major project tasks. He has a deep passion for transit and community engagement, and a strong commitment to public service. Ben has a strong background in quantitative and policy analysis, as well as skills in community engagement and graphic design.
